Part one talked about all that is going on around us and around the world it gives one to pause and wonder what is really going on? Jesus often described the End Times as being “birth pangs.” Just as labor pains grow stronger and closer together, God will allow escalation in trials of all kinds to bring men to Christ. In fact, the purpose of the Tribulation itself is to bring pressure for men to surrender to Jesus and find salvation. But is our current pandemic what Jesus is talking about?
“If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people” ~ 2 Chronicles 7:13
Part one pointed out there is no doubt something powerful is at work here on earth today. Whether it be a sign of the Rapture coming or just a warning to turn back to God, we must take it seriously. But in these uncertain days and weeks, we have been going through, we need to know we can still have joy in our lives. God wants us to be happy. God wants us to have joy in our lives and joy in our hearts.
“My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, 3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.” ~ James 1:2-3
If you are a Christian today, God cares for you and has made you a citizen of Heaven. He will continue to care for you and sustain you with the resources of Heaven itself. This makes good reason for having joy in the Lord today. We can find the ultimate joy in our Salvation. We can bring Salvation to our nation!
“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” ~ 2 Chronicles 7:14
Just look around the world, people are being saved and coming to Christ like never before. Through the trials that have beset us the past couple of months is causing many people to realize Jesus is the answer. The world does not have the answers we need. The world cannot offer eternal life. Only Jesus can.
Is there a revival coming? I think so…. Families are coming together like never before. More folks are going to church in large numbers whether it be via Facebook, livestream, YouTube, drive-in services, they are seeking the Lord.
At some drive-in churches the enemy is trying to stop us by using “law enforcement” to do his dirty work. But he has failed.
When we were told to close the doors of our churches it ignited an army of Christians to go out and preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ, anyway, anywhere, they can. Calling for repentance and acceptance of Jesus Christ our living God.
We are in a fight for the soul of our nation. Spiritual warfare is a reality and we as Christian are on the winning side. As the Bible said, we must repent of our sins as individuals as well as a nation. True repentance is more than talk; it is a changed behavior. Whether we sin individually or as a nation, following Jesus will lead to forgiveness and God will answer our earnest prayers.
As the song says: “Onward, Christian soldiers! Marching as to war, With the cross of Jesus going on before.”
. JESUS IS COMING! GLORY BE TO GOD!
